Ways to Work with FLAVVRR

For most clients, we begin work with Market Research. Depending on the time to launch, clients choose from our core research offerings — Rapid Research, Periodic Research, or Immersive Research. Regardless of the timeline, we take clients through some variation of our process to achieve the most impactful outcomes.

RAPID RESEARCH

Think of Rapid Research as a sprint. We accelerate our onboarding and brand discovery process to get right to the heart of your challenges with a single research question. This approach balances gathering general insights and a few custom elements based on time like survey research, customer interviews, etc. which gives us the space and clarity to get crystal clear on the insight that will fuel your implementation team’s next move.

What you need to know:

  • Time to complete — ≈ 4-6 Weeks
  • Great for teams with —
    - A short timeframe
    - A limited research budget but still values quality insights
    - A need to validate the investment for more immersive research
    - A desire to test messaging or other developed campaign creative with consumers
    - A desire to audit messaging based on established best practices and truths
    - Only a few implementers who need simple and actionable next steps and don’t want to be overwhelmed with, or need a lot of data to make decisions
  • Explore questions like —
    - “What is the most impactful way to engage our existing audience in the Southeast?”
    - “Beyond representation, how can we better reach and serve Hispanic Americans?”
    - “How can we improve our products to better serve Black women in the US?”
  • But if there are layered stakeholders who need lots of data and several meetings to make decisions, a more in-depth approach may be needed to educate and address deep-rooted research questions.

PERIODIC RESEARCH

Think of Periodic Research as pulse reports where we’re gathering and updating data on a consistent basis. This intelligence can span audiences, markets, industry trends, or moment-based insights. The initial kickoff is the most involved, requiring input from all stakeholders to define research parameters, questions, and desired outcomes, with each reporting period being more simplified.

What you need to know:

  • Time to complete — Happens quarterly, bi-annually, or annually. Completion time depends on project scope and reporting needs.
  • Great for teams that —
    - Want a consistent understanding of how the consumer ecosystem is shifting over time
    - Need a more formalized way of sharing market information with leadership
    - Want to understand their performance compared to competitors in the space
    - Want to know how the industry is evolving and identify new opportunities to engage core audiences
  • Explore questions like —
    - “How are consumer attitudes around our industry shifting over time, by generation?”
    - “In what ways are our competitors reaching and engaging our defined audiences? And how is that being received?”
    - “What are the changes in sentiment and customer satisfaction shifting over time?”
  • But if your team has very different research needs for each project or you just need to kick off research for one project, Rapid Research or Immersive Research may be a better fit.

IMMERSIVE RESEARCH

Immersive research is a true deep dive into the core parts of your business or industry to answer nuanced questions. Here, we design the right combination of research methodologies to address your brand’s challenges and questions.

What you need to know:

  • Time to complete — ≈ 12-16 weeks from kickoff to the presentation of strategic, actionable recommendations (depending on client availability and speed)
  • Great for teams that —
    - Have lots of stakeholders to inform at every stage of the process
    - Want to be hands-on and deeply involved in the research
    - Need to inform product design, campaign messaging
  • Explore questions like —
    - “We’ve heard that Black women don’t feel valued in the beauty industry, beyond representation, what can we do to attract and show them they are valued when we launch our new line of hair care products next year?”
    - “How do our brand, positioning, and product lineup resonate with existing customers? And what is the path to improvement?”
    - “We want to learn more about the life stages, behaviors, and brand perceptions of Gen Z women.”
  • But if you have a limited budget or a restricted timeframe, consider Rapid Research as a bridge to answering your most pressing questions.

THE TRANSFORMATION

On the other side of our work together, we’ll have —

  • Fueled your next project brief with insights that uniquely position your brand with your desired audience
  • Identified new market opportunities with a 30-60-90 day implementation plan
  • Developed a customer experience journey map that informs your product or messaging mix
  • Confirmed your audience focus and the right messages and mediums to connect with them
  • Re-energized leadership with confidence around new product releases
  • Set up consistent trend spotting and brand monitoring (Periodic Research)
  • Readied our teams to co-create the next stages of customer experience design

Need something a bit more customized? Schedule a call to discuss your specific needs. We’ve designed our research offerings based on experience but we understand that some projects are a bit more nuanced than others. Let’s see how we can work together to answer your research questions and create impactful experiences for your customers.
